The purpose of Webber Street Christian Church is to be the type of congregation patterned after the Church revealed in the New Testament. Our goals are:

• To worship and praise God
  Psalm 117; John 4:23-24

• To be a light to the surrounding community
  Matthew 5:14-16

• To disciple the world for Jesus Christ beginning at home and extending throughout the world
  Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1:8

  • Lead people to be immersed believers in Jesus Christ
    Acts 2:38; Galatians 3:26-27

  • Establish a fellowship which meets the needs of the people
    Acts 2:42-46; 4:32-35

  • Equip members to be servants
    Ephesians 4:11-13

  • Help members grow to maturity and maintain the unity of faith in Christ

In order for a person to be saved, according to Scriptures they must:

• Hear God's Word
  Matthew 7:24; I Corinthians 15:1-4
• Believe God's Word (have faith in it)
  Romans 10:17; Hebrews 11:1
• Repent (turning away from sin unto God)
  Luke 13:3; Acts 17:30
• Confess Jesus Christ as the Christ, the Son of the living God
  Matthew 10:32, 16:16; Romans 10:8-13
• Be immersed into Christ for the forgiveness of sins
  Acts 2:38, 22:16; Romans 6:3-6; Galatians 3:27; I Peter 3:21
• Live the Christian life showing love and gratitude to God for His salvation, looking forward to His Son's return
